Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1196 from Stone Street to Cornerstone, Canon Bridge Madley Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles outside Magnolia Farm OS Grid Ref: 343169 / 241129. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4352 onto the U73209 Stone Street and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 19th December 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
