WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2017 [Disabled Persons' Parking Place and Restriction of Waiting on Church Street and Market Square, Tenbury Wells]
On 16 November 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to vary waiting restrictions on the following lengths and side of road in Church Street, Market Square, Tenbury Wells (west side) as follows:- Create a disabled persons' parking place from a point 67.7 metres north of its junction with Cross Street for a distance of 4.6 metres in a northerly direction. Limit Waiting 1  hour Monday - Saturday 8.00am - 6.00pm no return within 1 hour from a point 52 metres north of its junction with Cross Street for a distance of 13.3 metres in a northerly direction. Revoke restriction of waiting Monday - Saturday 9.00am - 6.00pm from a point 52 metres north of its junction with Cross Street for a distance of 7.3 metres in a northerly direction. RevokeDisabled Persons' ParkingPlacefrom apoint 59.3 metres north of its junction with Cross Street for a distance of 6.0 metres in a northerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 7 December 2017. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Tenbury Wells Customer Service Centre, The Library, 24 Teme Street, Tenbury Wells, Worcs., WR15 8AA, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Courtwithin 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
