ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL ARKWRIGHT STREET, TYERSAL TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 783) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable works to underground apparatus proposed to be executed on behalf of BT Openreach on or near Arkwright Street, Tyersal intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Arkwright Street from its junction with Dick Lane to its junction with Darren Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Arkwright Street (unaffected section), Darren Street, Dudley Street, Dick Lane and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th December 2017 and remain in force until 15th December 2017 (both dates inclusive) (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
