CHURCH ST TEMPORARY CLOSURE THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTIONS 14(1) AND 16(1) THE BOLTON (CHURCH STREET, BLACKROD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.138) ORDER 2017
The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, the effect of which, being operative from 4 December 2017, will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from entering, stopping, standing, waiting, loading, unloading or otherwise remaining at rest in Church Street, from Whitehall Lane to Chapel St, between the hours of 7pm and 10pm. Access to properties to be maintained. Alternative route will be via New St, Manchester Rd, Blackrod Bypass. The Order is necessary due to manhole repair works which will last for approximately 3 hours and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
