Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U90407 Ailey Lane, Kinnersley, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U90407 Ailey Lane from outside Old Castle House to outside Upper Ailey Farm OS Grid Ref: 333601 / 248485. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1086 onto the A4112 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the repair of a water main and the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th November 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
