Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1257 Symonds Yat West Road, Symonds Yat, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1257 Symonds Yat West Road between Forrest End and The Spinney OS Grid Ref: 355891 / 216019. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Ferrie Lane onto Symonds Yat West Road and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the safe access to facilitate a ground investigation and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 4th December 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
