ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
LEE LANE, COTTINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 784) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas works proposed to be executed on or near Lee Lane, Cottingley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Lee Lane from a point outside Hazel Nook to a point outside the plot adjacent to Lea Bank.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length ofroad. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Lee Lane (unaffected section), Cross Lane, Coplowe Lane, Shay Lane, Wilsden Road, Cottingley Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on 12th December 2017 and remain in force until 15th December 2017 (both dates inclusive) (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
