ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
SPRING AVENUE THWAITES BROW KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 777) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas works proposed to be executed on or near Spring Avenue, Thwaites Brow, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Spring Avenue from its junction with Dale View Road for approximately 20 metres in a southerly direction. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Spring Avenue (unaffected section), Calton Road, Long Lee Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 4th December 2017 and remain in force until 22nd December 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 23rd day of November 2017.
