16. The A9000 northbound carriageway from the point where the northbound on-slip road joins the carriageway at Echline Junction to a point 120 metres south



of its junction with the roundabout at Ferrytoll Junction, a distance of 3980 metres or thereby. The Order will revoke the Lothian Regional Council and Fife Regional Council (Forth Road Bridge) (50 mph Speed Limit) Order 1992; The City of Edinburgh Council (M9 Spur/A90, Queensferry Road, Edinburgh) (50 mph Speed Limit) Order 2006; The City of Edinburgh Council and the Forth Estuary Transport Authority (A90 Queensferry Road at Forth Road Bridge) (Variable Speed Limit) Order 2008; and The Fife Council (A90 Northbound -50 m.p.h. Speed Limit) Order 2009. Full details of the proposal are contained in the Order which, together with a plan showing the length of road involved, the Orders being revoked and a statement of the Scottish Ministers' reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined free of charge during normal business hours from 28th November 2017 until 26th December 2017 at the offices of Transport Scotland, Buchanan House, 58 Port Dundas Road, Glasgow, G4 0HF; Forth Replacement Crossing Contact and Education Centre, Adjacent to Forth Road Bridge Administration Building, South Queensferry, Edinburgh, EH30 9SF; South Queensferry Library, 9 Shore Road, South Queensferry, EH30 9RD; Inverkeithing Library and Heritage Centre, Inverkeithing Local Office Civic Centre, 10 Queen Street, Inverkeithing, KY11 1PA; and Rosyth Library, Parkgate Community Centre, Parkgate, Rosyth, KY11 2JW. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send details of the grounds for objection in writing to the Director of Major Transport Infrastructure Projects, Transport Scotland, Buchanan House, 58 Port Dundas Road, Glasgow, G4 0HF by 26th December 2017. THE A90/A9000 TRUNK ROADS (FORTH ROAD BRIDGE, AND QUEENSFERRY CROSSING AND FORTH ROAD BRIDGE APPROACH ROADS) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 201[ ]

THE SCOTTISH MINISTERS give notice that they propose to make the above Order under sections 84(1)(a) and (c), and 124(1)(d) of, and paragraph 27 of schedule 9 of, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will prohibit vehicles on the following lengths of the A9000 Dalmeny - Inverkeithing Trunk Road and M90/ A90 Edinburgh - Inverkeithing Trunk Road from driving at a speed exceeding the following speed limits:

30mph speed restriction.

1. The A90 southbound off-slip road at Queensferry Junction from a point 15 metres or thereby north of its junction with the roundabout at Queensferry Junction to its junction with that roundabout, a distance of 15 metres or thereby.



2. The A90 northbound off-slip road at Queensferry Junction from a point 20 metres or thereby south of the junction with the roundabout at Queensferry Junction to its junction with that roundabout, a distance of 20 metres or thereby.



40mph speed restriction.

3. The A90 southbound off-slip road at Ferrytoll Junction from a point 30 metres or thereby north of its junction with the roundabout at Ferrytoll Junction to its junction with that roundabout.



4. The A90 circulatory carriageway of the roundabout at Ferrytoll Junction.



5. The northbound A9000 from a point 120 metres or thereby south of its junction with the roundabout at Ferrytoll Junction to its junction with that roundabout.



50mph speed restriction.

6. The A90 southbound on-slip road at Ferrytoll Junction from its commencement at the roundabout at Ferrytoll Junction southwards for a distance of 220 metres or thereby.



7. The A90 eastbound carriageway from a point 300 metres or thereby west of the point where the A90 crosses Standingstane Road, Dalmeny to a point 320 metres or thereby east of the point where the A90 crosses Standingstane Road, Dalmeny,



a distance of 620 metres or thereby.

8. The A9000 southbound off-slip road at Echline Junction, a distance of 259 metres or thereby.



9. The A9000 southbound on-slip road at Echline Junction, a distance of 228 metres or thereby.



10. The A90 westbound carriageway from a point 320 metres or thereby east of the point where the A90 crosses Standingstane Road, Dalmeny to the junction between the M90 and A90 at Scotstoun Junction,



a distance of 1180 metres or thereby.

11. The A90 westbound off-slip road from its junction with the westbound carriageway of the A90 to its junction with the B800 Kirkliston to South Queensferry Road, a distance of 750 metres or thereby.



12. The A9000 northbound on-slip road at Echline Junction, a distance of 241 metres or thereby.



13. The A9000 southbound carriageway from its commencement at a point 145 metres
