Primary School Enrolment
If your child is five years of age before the end of February 2019, they are eligible to attend primary school from August 2018. Please visityour catchment school during enrolmentweek (20 November to 24 November 2017) and take a copy of your child's birth certificate and proof of your address.
Secondary School Enrolment
If your child is moving from primary to secondary school in August 2018 you will receive details of the local catchment school from their current primary school.
Placement requests
If you want to send your child to a school that is outwith your catchment area this is called a placement request. If you choose to make a placement requestyou must also make contact with your catchment school and complete an enrolment form so that they can reserve a place for your child in the event that your placement request is refused. You should then visityour preferred school to get a placement request form.

Please note that enrolmentfor ELC will take place during the week 22-26 January 2018 so no action is required at this stage. However, for information, please note the following:-
Children born between 1 March 2014 and 28 February 2016 will be eligible for up to 600 hours of free Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) from August 2018. For some children living in specific catchment areas this will be up to 1140 hours. The hours will be provided by school nurseries and funded partner providers.
