Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U73234 Birch Hill Road, Clehonger, Hereford, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U73234 Birch Hill Road, Clehonger South of Springfield Close OS Grid Ref: 345072 / 237253. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Poplar Road onto Pleasant Row Road, onto Birch Hill Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new domestic gas connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th November 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
