OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BICESTER AREA) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 13 November 2017 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.The effect of the order, which comes into force on 23 November 2017 is to reduce the national unrestricted speed limit (60mph) to 50mph from Bicester ring road eastwards towards Blackthorn Rail Bridge, where it meets the existing 50mph (which extends to a point 400 metres east of the bridge). TheA41 Trunk Road (Blackthorn Bridge) (50 Miles per Hour Speed limit) Order 2003 and the Oxfordshire County Council (Bicester Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2015 are revoked and incorporated into this new order. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for public inspection in person at County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX1 1ND, from 8.30am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday, and at Bicester Library, Franklins House, Wesley Lane, OX26 6JU,from 9.30am to 7pm Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, 9.30am to 5pm Tuesday & Friday, and from 9am to 4.30pm Saturday
