The Croydon (Prescribed Routes) (No.4) Traffic Order 2017 The Croydon (On-Street Parking Places) (Car Club) (No.1) Traffic Order 2017
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council, on 13 November 2017, made the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
(a) amend waiting restrictions as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice;
(b) remove 11 existing shared use (permit/pay and display) parking bays on the south-west side of Bedford Park (between Sydenham Road and Tavistock Road), 9 shared use (permit/pay and display) parking bays on the north-west side of Bedford Park (between Tavistock
Road and Wellesley Road) and one shared use (permit/pay and display) parking bay on the south-east side of Bedford Park (between Tavistock Road and Wellesley Road);
(c) relocate the remaining 16 shared use (permit/pay and display) bays on the south-east side of Bedford Park (between Tavistock Road and Wellesley Road) so that the two existing sets of eight and three parking bays respectively are combined into one set of 11 bays
on the south-east side of Bedford Park, outside Lunar House, 40 Wellesley Road and one existing set of five bays is relocated on the south-east side of Bedford Park slightly to the south-west of its current position outside Sunley House, Bedford Park;
(d) introduce two car club bays on the south-east side of Bedford Park (between Tavistock Road and Wellesley Road) outside Lunar House, 40 Wellesley Road;
(e) introduce an exemption for pedal cycles to the existing one-way working restrictions Bedford Park and Poplar Walk Croydon.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on the 17 November 2017, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk Croydon, CRO 1EA.
4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from Parking Design, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN CROYDON The Croydon (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (No.B42) Traffic Order, 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council, proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce or extend "at any time" double yellow line waiting restrictions in the lengths of streets specified in the Schedule 1 to this Notice and to remove double yellow line waiting restrictions in the length of street specified in the Schedule 2 to this Notice.
3. A copy of the proposed Order and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order was made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA.

5. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, Place Department, Croydon Council, Floor 6 Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1 EA or email Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference PD/CH/B42 by 08 December 2017.
6. The Order is intended to introduce new, amend existing or remove existing waiting restrictions at various locations. These measures are intended to address all or some of the following situations: improve safety by providing increased visibility, especially at junctions and on bends; prevent obstructive parking so that turning vehicles have sufficient manoeuvrability and improve access for all road users, especially pedestrians, cyclists, emergency and public service vehicles.
