Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,as highway authority, intend,under its relevant powers,to make the U90407Ailey Lane, Kinnersley Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from outside Old Castle Housetooutside Upper Ailey Farm OS Grid Ref: 333601 / 248485. The alternative routefor those affected by the proposal is via the C1086 onto the A4112and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the repair of awater main andthe installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works aretakingplace. The said closure will come into force on 27th November2017 and may remain in forcefor a maximumperiod of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works areexpected to be completed within 3 days.
