Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1112 From A49 To Ford Farm, Ford Bridge , Temporary Road Closure Order to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1112 From A49 To Ford Farm, Ford Bridge, from the junction with the A49 to the northern side of Ford Bridge. Grid Ref: 350952/255106. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A49 onto the A44 onto the C1110 Stoke Prior Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to bridge repair works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th of November 2017 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 6 days.
