Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1219 Nuthatch Cottage to Gwent Boundary, Walterstone, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1219 Nuthatch Cottage to Gwent Boundary outside Perthi Bach near the junction with Lower House Road OS Grid Ref: 335349 / 227223. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U74415 Court Road onto the U74413 The Vineyard Road onto the U74412 Court Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the repair of a leaking sluice valve and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th November 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
