OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (MILTON,ABINGDON) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, as a result of the provision of a new 'toucan' signalled crossing for pedestrians and cyclists, is to extend the 40mph speed limit eastwards on the A4130 Milton to Didcot road by 200 metres, replacing the existing national speed limit on this length ofthe road by the same amount. The Oxfordshire County Council (Milton, Abingdon) (Speed Limits) Order 2014 will be revoked/replaced.

PROPOSED TOUCAN CROSSING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Oxfordshire County Council also proposes to - as a result of the development of adjacent land - install a Toucan crossing (a signalled crossing for use by pedestrians and pedal cyclists) centred at the following location:

? On the A4130, leading from the Milton Interchange to Didcot, approximately 500 metres east of its junction with the A34 Milton Interchange. Documents giving more detailed particulars ofthe Order are available for public inspection online by visiting: https:llconsultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk, or in person at County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OX 1 IND from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday; and at Didcot Library, 197 Broadway, OX II 8RU, Monday Ipm to 7pm, Tuesday and Friday 9am to 7pm, Wednesday & Thursday 9am to 5.30pm, and Saturday 9am to 4.30pm. Objections to the proposals specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations to be sent in writing to the address below (or by visiting: https://consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk) no later than 08 December 2017.
