ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

ACADEMY WAY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & FOOTWAY CLOSURE) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017

The effect of which will be to introduce the following: -Temporary Prohibition of Driving - Academy Way (eastbound traffic only) - From Its junction with Bridge Street to Its junction with Bank Street for a period of 1 week.

Temporary Footway Closure - Academy Way (northern footway) -

From a point approximately 10 metres east of its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with Academy Street for a period of 18 months. The Order will be effective from Sunday 12th November 2017 and the restrictions in place when signed on site.

The alternative route will be via Bridge Street, Mersey Street, Bank Street, Academy Way.

The restrictions are required to facilitate the demolition of structures adjacent to the highway and construction works associated with the Time Square development.

MOULDERS LANE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & FOOTWAY CLOSURE) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving and footway closure on Moulders Lane from its junction with Bank Street to its junction with Academy Way.

The Order will be effective from Friday 10th November 2017 for 2 weeks when signed on site.

The alternative route will be via Bank Street, Academy Way.

The restrictions are required to facilitate essential highway works

associated with the Time Square development.

RUNCORN ROAD AND ADJACENT STREETS. APPLETON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017

The effect of which is:-

Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway

Runcorn Road - From Chester Road to the Borough Boundary close to

Moore Lane

Bellhouse Lane - From its junction with Runcorn Road for 100m

Holly Hedge Lane - From its junction with Runcorn Road for 100m

Mill Lane - From its junction with Runcorn Road for 100m

Underbridge Lane - From its junction with Runcorn Road for 100m.

The Order will be effective from Monday 13th November 2017 for 6 weeks

between the hours of 9pm-5am when signed on site.

The alternative routes will be Runcorn Road via Runcorn Road, Calmington

Lane, Newmoore Lane, Wharford Lane, Pitts Heath Lane, A558 Daresbury

Expressway, A56 Chester Road and vice versa.

The restrictions and closures are required to undertake carriageway

surfacing.

VARIOUS ROADS IN APPLETON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017

The effect of which is:-

Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Clearway

Birchdale Road - Its entire length Ash Lane - Its entire length

Kingsley Drive - Its entire length Dale Lane - its entire length

The Order will be effective from Monday 13th November 2017 for 6 weeks

between the hours of 8:30am-5:30pm when signed on site.

The alternative routes will be:

Birchdale Road Via Red Lane, Whitefield Road, Walton Road, London Road and vice versa or via Red Lane, Kingsley Drive, Warren Drive, London Road and vice versa

Kingsley Drive Via Red Lane, Birchdale Road, London Road and vice versa or via Red Lane, Windmill Lane, Quarry Lane, London Road and vice versa The restrictions and closures are required to undertake footway and carriageway surfacing works.

ACCESS WILL BE UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE RELEVANT CONTRACTOR FOR THE DURATION OF THE WORKS

THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) (BRIDGE STREET QUARTER) (MOVEMENT) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Sections 1,2,4,5 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers on 1 st November 2017. The effect of the Order is as follows:-

1. The Orders specified in Schedule 1 to the Order will be revoked in their entirety.



2. The Orders specified in Schedule 2 to the Order will be varied to the extent as detailed in the said Schedule 2 to the Order.



3. To introduce One-Way Traffic restrictions on roads detailed in Column 1 of Schedule 3 to the extent as detailed in Column 2 of the said Schedule 3 to the Order.



4. To introduce Prohibition of U-Turns from the roads detailed in Column 1 of Schedule 4 to the roads detailed in Column 2 of the said Schedule 4 to the Order.



5. To introduce a Prohibition of Driving on the road detailed in Column 1 of Schedule 5 to the extent as detailed in Column 2 of the said Schedule 5 to the Order.



6. To introduce a Bus Lane between the hours of 5am to 9pm with exemptions for Pedal Cycles, Hackney Carnages and licensed Private Hire Vehicles on the length of road detailed in Schedule 6 to the Order.



7. To introduce a Prohibition of Driving from 9pm to 5am with an exemption for Pedal Cycles on the roads detailed in Column 1 of Schedule 7 to the extent as detailed in Schedule 7 to the Order.



The Order will be effective from 20th November 2017. A copy of the Order and Statement of the Council's Reason for making the Order, together with a plan of the restricted area, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quattro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, during the usual office hours Monday to Friday. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 1st November 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
