Proposal to expand Home Farm Primary School, Colchester

Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Essex County Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Home Farm Primary School (Community), Shelley Road, Lexden, Colchester, Essex, CO3 4JL from 01 September 2018.

The proposal is to enlarge the premises of Home Farm Primary School to increase its capacity from 210 to 420 places on a phased basis, with effect from 1 September 2018.

The current capacity of the school is 210 and the proposed capacity will be 420. The current number of pupils registered at the school is 212. The current admission number for the school is 30 and the proposed admission number will be 60.
