ROYAL BOROUGH OF KINGSTON UPON THAMES TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 (AS AMENDED)
(to be published in a newspaper)
SITE: TOLWORTH TOWER, TOLWORTH BROADWAY, SURBITON, KT6 7EL
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames has received additional information for Redevelopment and refurbishment of the Tolworth Tower complex comprising the part change of use of the existing Tower to create 68 Serviced Apartments (Use Class C1) (floors 7-10), and 108 residential units (Use Class C3) (floors 11 to 22) and the erection of new 5 storey, 12 storey, 15 storey and 19 storey buildings to provide 962sqm of commercial (A1/A2/A3/A4) units at ground floor level with 203 residential units (Use Class C3) above with associated changes to parking, access, basement parking extension, covered service yard, public realm and landscaping. The Council's Development Control Committee resolved to grant planning permission for the above mentioned proposal in January 2016. The planning permission is yet to be issued. Prior to completing the S106 and issuing the decision the applicant has requested that the following amendments are made to the proposal. The amendments relate to the following:

*The change in layout and distribution of car parking spaces on the ground and 2nd floor,
* The change in design of the pocket park and retention of parking spaces in front of M&S;
* The introduction of an outdoor amenity deck on the 2nd floor level.

The proposed amendments would not, when compared to the proposal assessed by the Development Control Committee in January 2016, result in an increase in car parking provision across the site. A copy of the application, together with the relevant plans and documents, may be viewed on the Council's website (kingston.gov.uk) or inspected at the Information & Advice Centre in Guildhall 2 (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday). Any person wishing to make representations concerning the application should submit them, in writing, to the undersigned at the address given below, within 21 days of the date of publication of this Notice, quoting reference 15/16356/FUL.
