(High Street, Colchester) (Temporary Waiting Restriction) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 Has Made the following order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effects of the order: To introduce waiting and parking restrictions in those lengths of road described below. The restrictions are required to avoid danger to the public and other traffic on the road and to prevent the likelihood of any such danger occurring.
1. To Revoke Goods Vehicle Loading Bays 8am - 6pm Monday to Saturday Road Description
High Street, i. the south side from a point 17 metres east of its junction with Colchester Head Street east for a distance of 20 metres
ii. the south side from a point 7.6 metres east of the eastern side of Bank Passage east for a distance of 27 metres
iii. the south side from a point 43 metres east of Bank Passage east for a distance of 26 metres
iv. the south side from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Pelhams Lane west for a distance of 18 metres
2. To Introduce Goods Vehicle Loading Bays 8am - 6pm Monday - Thursday (Restrictions to be contained within new schedule 67G of the 2008 Order)

High Street, i. the south side from a point 28 metres east of its junction with Colchester Head Street east for a distance of 9 metres
ii. the south side from a point 7.6 metres east of the eastern side of Bank Passage east for a distance of 27 metres
iii. the south side from a point 43 metres east of Bank Passage east for a distance of 26 metres
iv the south side from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Pelhams Lane west for a distance of 18 metres
3. To Revoke Motorcycle parking place
Road Description
High Street, i. the south side from a point 39 metres east of its junction with Colchester Head Street eastwards for a distance of 6 metres.
4. To introduce Motorcycle parking place Sunday to Wednesday, Midnight Wednesday to 6pm Thursday and 7pm to midnight on Saturdays (Restrictions to be contained within a new schedule 57B of the 2008 Order)

5. To Introduce No Waiting/No Loading 6pm Thursday - 7pm Saturday (Restrictions to be contained within new schedule 39D of the 2008 Order)

6. To Revoke Disabled Badge Holders Only Any Day 8am-6pm 3 Hours Waiting

The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Waiting Restriction) (Consolidation) Order 2008 shall be temporarily amended in so far as it relates to the waiting and stopping restrictions detailed in this Notice. The Order came into operation on 03 November 2017 and may continue in force for up to 18 months.

(Halstead Road, Stanway) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Halstead Road, Stanway in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 600m northwest of its junction with London Road to its junction with Halstead Road, a distance of approximately 239m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th December 2017 for 8 nights (Works to be carried out between 20:00 and 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (FN50636306 - Highways England). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while maintenance works are undertaken by Highways England. An alternative route is available via Halstead Road, A1124 Halstead Road Southbound, Halstead Road Roundabout, A12 Eastbound Slip From Stanway, A12 Stanway Bypass Northbound, A12 Westbound Slip To Stanway, Essex Yeomanry Way Southbound, Tollgate Roundabout, Tollgate Drive, London Road, St Albright Crescent and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Coast Road, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coast Road, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 51m northwest of its junction with Victory Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th November 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000637909 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via High Street, High Street North and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 2nd November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Southway Eastbound, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Southway Eastbound,
Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Maldon Road
to its junction with Oxford Road, a distance approximately 338m. The closure
is scheduled to commence on 7th December 2017 for 8 nights (works to be carried
out between 8pm and 5am), or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153035037
- Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works
with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway
resurfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Maldon Road Roundabout, Balkerne Hill
Northbound, Middleborough Roundabout, Westway Northbound, Colne Bank
Avenue, Cymbeline Way, Spring Lane Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th November 2017 and may continue in force
for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Mary Lane North, Great Bromley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mary Lane North, Great Bromley in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 370m south of its junction with Camp Road for a distance of approximately 229m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th December 2017 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2233999 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while safety fence works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Mary Lane North, Stone Road, Chase Road East and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
