THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF TERRACE GARDENS, WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using thatlength of Terrace Gardens, Watfordfrom its junction with A412 St Albans Road north westwards for its entire length ("the Road"). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because electrical cabling works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 November 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF COLONIAL WAY, WATFORD/BUSHEY)
ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using thatlength of Colonial Way, Watford/Bushey from its junction with the Radlett Road roundabout south eastwards to its junction with the A4008 Stephenson Wayroundabout ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 150 metres, except for access. An alternativeroute will be via Radlett Road, Bushey Mill Lane,A412 St Albans Road,A41 (North Western Avenue/North WesternAvenueColne Way/Otterspool Way) and A4008 Stephenson Way. The Order is needed because the replacement of existing bridge expansion joints are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.  If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 November 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING OF TOMS HILL, CHANDLERS CROSS) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using thatlength of Toms Hill, Chandlers Cross from its junction with Templepan Lane north westwards for adistance of approximately 30 metres ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane, Sarratt Road, Dimmocks Lane, The Green, Poles Hill, DunnyLane, The Street, The Common, Bucks Hill and Toms Hill. The Order is needed because gas service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 November 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE BUS LANE SITUATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 'CHARTER PLACE', WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the bus lane situated on the north side of 'Charter Place', Watford from its northernmost junction with A411 Beechen Grove south eastwards to its southernmost junction with A411 Beechen Grove ("the Bus Lane"), adistance of approximately 187 metres. An alternative route will be via A411 Beechen Grove. The Order is needed because amobile crane is required to replace existing generators on the roof of 'Charter Place'. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 November 2017 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Bus Lane.
