(20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (LANGTON ROAD, NORTON-ON-DERWENT) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is hereby given that North Yorkshire County
Council proposes to make an Order under
Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit
any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of
20 miles per hour on the length of road
specified in the table below - the proposed Order will
extend the 20 mph speed limit on Langton Road
by revoking part of the existing 2005 Order.

Langton Road west of the centre line of its
junction with Langley Drive, to a point 22 metres north west of the centre line of its junction with St. Peter's Crescent. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton and at Norton Hive Library, 86 Commercial Street, Norton, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 9ES during normal office hours from 15 November 2017 until 8 December 2017 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing, addressed to "Area 4 Kirby Misperton Highways Office, Beansheaf Industrial Park, Tofts Road, Kirby Misperton, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 6BG" or by e-mail to area4. kirbymisperton@northyorks.gov.uk or via the website link above by 8 December 2017.
