ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
ALLERTON LANE, ALLERTON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO.776) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Allerton Lane, Allerton intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Allerton Lane from its junction with Bracewell Avenue to its junction with Pitty Beck Bridge.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Allerton Lane (unaffected section), Thornton Road, Allerton Road, Cote Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on 26th November 2017 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on 26th November 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 14th day of November 2017.
