ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
VICTORIA PARK, SHIPLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 767) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas main works proposed to be executed on or near Victoria Park, Shipley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Victoria Park from its junction with Bingley Road to a point outside number 7 Victoria Park.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Victoria Park (unaffected section), Fern Hill Road, Grosvenor Road, Bingley Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th November 2017 and remain in force until 11th December 2017 (both dates inclusive) (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 7th day of November 2017
