ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
BACK LANE, THORNTON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 772) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas main works to be executed on or near Back Lane, Thornton has made the abovenamed Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Back Lane from its junction with Spring Hole Lane to a point outside the rear of 59 Oakhill Park. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Back Lane (unaffected section), Sapgate Lane, North Cliffe Lane, Brooklands Avenue, Springhead Road, Thornton Road, James Street, West Lane, Spring Holes Lane and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation on 11th November 2017 and remains in force until 10th December 2017 (both dates inclusive) (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 7th day of November 2017
