(WOOD VUE (NO.S 113-117) SPENNYMOOR) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2017)
The Council proposes in not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all vehicular traffic a 25 mtr length of Wood Vue between nos 113-117, Spennymoor by reason of new sewer scheme to be undertaken. The maximum duration of the temporary closure under the Order is 18 months and is required from13/11/17 for the duration of the works anticipated to be 5 months (mid Nov to mid April). However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Alternative route: from the western side of the closure from Wood Vue south easterly to Durham Road then south westerly to the junction with King Street, turning westerly onto Grange Road then northerly onto Wood Vue to the eastern side of the closure, and vice versa.
