Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: A465, Commercial Road, Hereford , Temporary Road Closure Order to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the A465, Commercial Road, Hereford, from the junction with Barrs Court Road to the junction with Stonebow Road, between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00. Grid Ref: 3515936 / 240375. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A438 onto the A49 onto the A4103 onto the A465 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 12th of November 2017 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 week.
