Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U80315, Hopton Road, Hereford, Temporary One Way Traffic Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80136, Hopton Road, Hereford, from its junction with Penn Grove Road to its junction with Barr's Court Road, other than in a south­westerly direction. OS Grid Ref: 351669/240498 to 351727/240557. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Barr's Court Road onto College Road onto Pengrove Road.
The said restriction is required due due to the likelihood of danger to the public due to works to construct the city link road. The said restriction will come into force on 10th November 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 6 months.
