ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
IVES STREET SHIPLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 773) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Ives Street, Shipley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Ives Street from its junction with Hird Street to a point at the River Aire.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
No alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th November 2017 and remain in force until 22nd December 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 2nd day of November 2017.
