Temporary 40mph Speed Limit

Notice is hereby given in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 that the Department for Infrastructure, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1) and (3) of the said Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, proposes to introduce a temporary 40 miles per hour speed limit on A34 Lisnagole Road, Maguiresbridge, from a point 20 metres north of its junction with U9403 Aghnaskew Road, Maguiresbridge to a point 70 metres north of its junction with U9378 Drumbroughas North Road, Lisnaskea for a period of 2 weeks from Monday 13 November 2017 being satisfied that traffic should be restricted because road works are being undertaken along route A34 Lisnagole Road, Maguiresbridge associated with the "Gas to the West" project.
Traffic signs warning thatthe use of this road is subjectto the above speed limit restriction and to indicate the nature and extent of the restriction will be erected in 800m long sections as this scheme progresses along the route.
