ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
SWAN AVENUE GILSTEAD BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 769) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works to be executed on or near Swan Avenue, Gilstead, Bingley has made the abovenamed Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Swan Avenue from its junction with Nightingale Walk to its junction with Canary Drive. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Swan Avenue (unaffected section), Warren Lane and vice versa. The Order comes into operation on 6th November 2017 and remains in force until 15th December 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
