ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
LAYCOCK LANE, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO.774) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Laycock Lane, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Laycock Lane from a point outside No. 70 Laycock Lane to a point outside No. 78 Laycock Lane. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Laycock Lane (unaffected section), Green Sykes Road, Black Hill Lane, West Lane, Braithwaite Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect at 09:30 hours on 21st November 2017 and remain in force until 15:30 hours on 21st November 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
