Dorset County Council Temporary Parking Restriction, Wyke Road, Weymouth
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. The order will come into operation at 00:01hrs on the 27th November 2017, and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by the 15th December 2017 at 23:59hrs. The order is to allow I & G Contractors on behalf of Southern Gas Networks, a safe working area to install a new gas main, and allow traffic flow to be maintained. The effect of the order is as follows;

[A] To impose a temporary parking restriction and clearway on WYKE ROAD, WEYMOUTH from the junction with Rodwell Road to the junction with Portmore Gardens, a distance of approximately 120 metres.
