TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential Highway works on Queensway EN3 the Council of the London Borough of Enfield has made the Enfield (Queensway EN3) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2017 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. [Note: this Order continues the effect of a Notice dated 6 November 2017 given under section 14(2) (b) of the said Act].



2. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding, parking, waiting, loading or unloading on Queensway EN3 between the common boundary of No.19/21 and 19 Queensway EN3 and the common boundary between No.10 and the Tesco car park as and when directed by the appropriate signage in the London Borough of Enfield under section 14(2) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.



3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 will not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services' vehicles.



4. The provisions will only apply when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.



5. Whilst the prohibitions are in force the diversion route will be via High Street and Southbury Road.



6. The prohibitions will come into operation on 10 November 2017, and will continue until 13 November 2017 or until such time as the works are complete.
