ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
LOWER TOWN, OXENHOPE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 771) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas main works proposed to be executed on or near Lower Town, Oxenhope intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect ofwhich will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Lower Town from its junction with Best Lane to its junction with Mallard View.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Lower Town (unaffected section), Station Road, Hebden Bridge Road, Best Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th November 2017 and remain in force until 3rd December 2017 (both dates inclusive) (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 2nd day of November 2017
