ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
WEST VIEW AVENUE, BURLEY-IN-WHARFEDALE TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 764) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near West View Avenue, Burley-in-Wharfedale intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of West View Avenue from a point outside No. 38 West View Avenue to a point outside No. 40 West View Avenue.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via West View Avenue (unaffected section), Langford Road, Station Road, Aireville Terrace, West View Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on 6th November 2017 and remain in force until 10th November 2017 (both dates inclusive) (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
