THE BOLTON (GEORGES LANE, HORWICH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.143) ORDER 2017
The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, the effect of which, being operative from 13 November 2017, will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from entering, stopping, standing, waiting, loading, unloading or otherwise remaining at rest in Georges Lane, from Montcliffe for a distance of approx 100m in an easterly direction. Alternative route will be via Marklands Rd, Foxholes Rd, Mill Lane, Church St, Chorley Old Rd. The Order is necessary due to water mains works which will last for approximately 2 days and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
