THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHALFONT LANE, WEST HYDE) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Chalfont Lane, West Hyde from its junction with the A412 Denham Way roundabout westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 894 metres (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via A412 Denham Way, Woodland Road, Hornhill Road, Shire Lane, Rickmansworth Lane, Denham Lane, West Hyde Lane and Chalfont Lane. The Order is needed because the replacement of existing water mains are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 November 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A411 BARNET LANE, BOREHAMWOOD AND CLYSTON ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:- 1. that length of A411 Barnet Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with the Furzehill Road/Farriers Way roundabout south eastwards for a distance of approximately 438 metres. An alternative route will be via A411 Barnet Lane, A5183 (High Street/Elstree Hill North), B5378 (Allum Lane/Shenley Road), A5135 Elstree Way, A1 Barnet Bypass and A411 Barnet Lane. 2. that length of Clyston Road, Watford from a point 54 metres north east of its junction with High View north eastwards for a distance of approximately 23 metres. An alternative route will be via Clyston Road, High View, Caractacus Green, Charlock Way and Clyston Road. The Order is needed because gas connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 20 November 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON WOODFORD ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Woodford Road, Watford from its junction with St Johns Road north westwards to its junction with Clarendon Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 270 metres. An alternative route will be via Orphanage Road, Radlett Road, Balmoral Road, A412 St Albans Road and Station Road. ADDITIONALLY the existing one way traffic system on this length of Road, will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of Road, whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because tower crane installation works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 18 November 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH WATFORD RURAL 5
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Watford Rural 5, from FP6 west across railway to The Pathway off Anthony Close, for an approximate distance of 60 metres. Alternative route: via FPs 6, 7, Green Lane, Oxhey Road and Watford Heath The purpose of the Order is to enable wall repair works to take place. The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 3rd November 2017 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH WATFORD BOROUGH 29
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Watford Borough 29, from Hempstead Road to Sarratt FP50a, for an approximate distance of 120 metres. Alternative Route: via track to the south of The Grove Pumping Station and Hempstead Road The purpose of the Order is to enable hydraulic testing works to take place. The section of Footpath Watford Borough 29 will be closed on or after 20th November 2017 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 2 months to complete.
