Dorset County Council Temporary Closure of C60, East Bloxworth
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the C60 at East Bloxworth in the vicinity of its junction with the Bloxworth Road for a distance of approximately 120 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Tuesday 14 November 2017 for 7 days, with an end date of Monday 20 November 2017.
This order will enable BT Openreach to provide power connections to a BT cabinet.
Alternative vehicular routes will be signed using the local road network.
