NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wigan Borough Council, In exercise of Its powers under Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made The Wlgan Borough (Decrlmlnalisatlon of Parking) (Leigh Roads) (Traffic Regulation Consolidation) Order 2004 (Amendment No. 117) Order 2017 which will come into operation on 09/11/2017. The effect of the Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time on:-

Sunningdale Grove, Leigh North
A point 64 metres west of its junction with Richmond Drive
A point 79 metres west of its junction with Richmond Drive

A copy of the Order and of the relevant map may be inspected at the Town Hall, Library Street, Wigan, between 9.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on any day from Monday to Friday. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the ground-la) that it is not within the powers of Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984;
or the Traffic Management Act 2004 or (b) that any requirement of the said Section 1, or of Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or of any regulations made under the said Part III of Schedule 9 or of any requirement of the 2004 Act, has not been complied with, may within six weeks of 25/10/2017 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
