Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1097 from the Steps to Bishon Lane, Bishopstone, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1097 from the Steps to Bishon Lane outside Magnis OS Grid Ref: 342283 / 243050. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1098 from C1097 to Lulham Cottage onto the A438 from Marsh court access to Kings Acre Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the repair of a displaced sewer joint and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 6th November 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
