Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1236 from C1238 to Cluttin Road, Garway Hill, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1236 from C1238 to Cluttin Road outside Homelands by the junction with the U71417 Garrendale Road OS Grid Ref: 344706 / 225704. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal
is via the U71415 Cluttin Road onto theC1238 Cluttin Road to the Old Rectory and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 6th November 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
