PROPOSED ONE-WAY WORKING AND CYCLE CONTRA FLOWS ■ CRESSWELL ROAD, DOVERCOURT AVENUE, LANGDALE ROAD AND MARDELL ROAD
The Croydon (Prescribed Routes) (No.B40) Traffic Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make a Traffic Order under Section 6 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce one-way working in the roads/lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice, with an exemption to apply to pedal cycles as detailed.
3. A copy of the proposed Order and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order was made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, between 9am and 4pm on Mondays
to Fridays inclusive at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, Surrey, CRO 1EA.

5. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Order Making Section, Parking Services, P.O. Box 1462, Croydon, CR9

15 November 2017.
6. The Order is intended to introduce one-way working in the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice with an exemption for pedal cyclists as detailed. This proposal would be introduced to reduce congestion and the potential for collisions. Exemptions for pedal cycles have been applied where there is sufficient road width to allow a cycle contra-flow to operate safely.

4. During the prohibition referred to in paragraph 2 above, displaced traffic will be diverted via local streets as appropriate.
5. The Order will come into operation on the 01 November 2017 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 18 months.
(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002. (Access for frontagers will be maintained as far as possible whilst the work proceeds).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14, AS AMENDED
VARIOUS STREETS IN CROYDON - TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the exchanging and installing of water meter boxes in the footway on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to:
(a) introduce one-way traffic for the duration of the works in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice;
(b) temporarily close to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice;
(c) temporarily close any adjoining streets to those mentioned in the Schedule to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress; and
(d) temporarily introduce banned turns, footway closures or waiting and loading restrictions at any time should this be required;
(e) introduce any other traffic management measures as required to facilitate the water works.
2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to
(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or
(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.
3. Whilst the provisions of the Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles will be prohibited at any time in those streets or lengths of streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 ZION ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a passing place for buses opposite a contractor compound, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Zion Road.
2. Whilst the contractor compound remains in place, temporary waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" on the east side of Zion Road between the common boundaries of Nos. 27 and 29 Zion Road and Nos. 45 and 47 Zion Road.
3. The Order will come into operation on 09 November 2017 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out by 20 December 2017. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required._
