Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order : B4359, Newtown Road, Hereford , Temporary Road Closure Order to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4359, Newtown Road, Hereford, from the junction with the A49 to the junction with College Road, from 19:00hrs on the 31st Oct to 07:00 hrs on 2nd November. Grid Ref: 351021 / 240869. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Widemarsh Street onto Blackfriar Road onto the A49 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 31st of October 2017 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
