Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Footpath FK-527, Frankley and Footpaths RM-538, RM-537 & RM-532, Romsley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 27 April 2017 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath FK-527, Frankley and Footpaths RM-538, RM-537 & RM-532, Romsley for their entire lengths which was due to expire on 10 November 2017 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until the workstowhich itrelateshavebeen completed oruntil 11 November2018whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State. The Order has been made because of the likelihood of danger to the public as a result of an unsafe bridge.
Alternative routes:- Footpaths FK-528, FK-523, FK-522, FK-525, Frankley to Footpaths HN-523, HN-521, Hunnington on to Footpaths RM-531 & RM-533, Romsley & vice versa.
(Weights Lane and Birmingham Road, Redditch)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of Weights Lane and Birmingham Road, Redditch in three sections:-
(a) Birmingham Road -from its junction with B4101 Dagnell End Road for a distance of 198 metres in a southerly direction.

(b) Birmingham Road - from its junction with U22404 Weights Lane for a distance of224 metres in asoutherlydirection.

(c) Weights Lane - from its junction with A441 Birmingham Road for a distance of 173 metres in a westerly direction.

The Order has been made to facilitate surface course tarmac and road marking works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A441 Birmingham Road, B4101 Dagnell End Road, B4497 Icknield Street, B4497 Paper Mill Drive, A4023 Coventry Highway/Coventry Highway Roundabout at B4497 junction, A441 Alvechurch Highway, A441 Birmingham Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 nights (20:00hrs -06:00hrs) Commencing: 23 October 2017.
(C2038 Astwood Lane, Feckenham)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Order made: to close that part of C2038 Astwood Lane, Feckenham from its junction with U30008 Swansbrook Lane to its junction with U32048 Yeats Acre in order to facilitate new water connection works.
Exemptions: to permitaccess to anyland or premises frontingthe highwayaffected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternativeroute: C2038 Astwood Lane, U30013 Rockhill Lane, B4090The Saltway, B4090Alcester Road, C2038 High Street, C2038 Astwood Lane and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing:
23 October 2017.
(U43407 Mearse Lane, Cookhill)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to close that part of U43407 Mearse Lane & U43408 Mearse Lane,
Cookhill in two section:-
U43407 Mearse Lane - from its junction with U43408 Lower Cladswell Lane to its junction with U43402 Cladswell Lane.
U43408 Mearse Lane - from its junction with A442 Worcester Road to its junction
with U43408 Lower Cladswell Lane.
The Order is being made to facilitate carriagewayworks.
Exemptions: to permitaccess to anyland or premises frontingthe highwayaffected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative routes: U43407 Mearse Lane - U43402 Cladswell Lane, U43408 Lower Cladswell Lane and vice versa. U43408 Mearse Lane - U43408 Lower Cladswell Lane, U43402 Cladswell Lane, U43402 Church Lane, A441 Evesham Road, A422 Worcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day (within a 3 week period) Commencing: 9 November 2017.
(Link Footpath F30482 and F30481 Mickleton Close, Redditch)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
Proposed Order: to make an Order to close that part of Link Footpath F30482 and F30481 Mickleton Close, Redditch from its junction with U30108 Castle Ditch Lane to its junction with U30113 Mickleton Close in order to facilitate maintenance works.
Exemptions: to permitaccess to anyland or premises frontingthe highwayaffected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: - U30113 Mickleton Close, U30108 Castleditch Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days: Commencing: 9 November 2017.
