MIDDLETON STONEY ROAD, BICESTER: PROPOSED PUFFIN CROSSING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council as the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers proposes to construct a Puffin crossing (a signal controlled crossing for use by pedestrians) at the following location in Bicester to help improve pedestrian safety in the area:
Middleton Stoney Road - approximately 38 metres*
West of its junction with Newton Close. (*All dimensions are approximate,taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the crossing.) Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting: https:Hconsultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk, or in person County Hall, New Road, Oxford, OXI IND, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) by no later than 10 November 2017. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
