PUBLIC NOTICE TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
The Borough (Tilbury Permit (Amendment)
1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 49, 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a Permit Parking Area Mon-Fri 8am-6pm on the roads specified below: -

Adelaide Road, Albany Road, Alexandra Road, Church Road, Darwin Road, Dunlop Road, Ellerman Road, Fairfax Road northern arm, Fairfax Road southern arm serving 2 to 36 Fairfax Road, Gaylor Road, Hobart Road, Leicester Road, Melbourne Road, Russell Road, Russell Road southern arm serving 23 to 49 Russell Road, Sexton Road and Seymour Road.

3) To introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" on the roads specified below:-

On the south east side of Leicester Road from a point 15 metres east of the centre line of the junction of Leicester Road and Darwin Road to a point 15 metres west of the centre line.
Both sides of Darwin Road from its junction with the southern kerb line of Leicester Road for a distance of 10 metres south.
On the south east side of Leicester Road from a point 15 metres east of the centre line of the junction of Leicester Road and Sexton Road to a point 15 metres west of the centre line
Both sides of Sexton Road from its junction with the southern kerb line of Leicester Road for a distance of 10 metres south. On the east side of Dunlop Road from a point 15 metres north of the centre line of the junction of Dunlop Road and Leicester Road to a point 15 metres south of the centre line
Both sides of Leicester Road from its junction with the eastern kerb line of Dunlop Road for a distance of 10 metres east. On the north side of Fairfax Road from a point 15 metres east of the centre line of the junction of Fairfax Road and Sexton Road to a point 15 metres west of the centre line
Both sides of Sexton Road from its junction with the northern kerb line of Fairfax Road for a distance of 10 metres north. On the south side of the northern arm of Fairfax Road from a point 15 metres east of the centre line of the junction of southern arm of Fairfax Road serving 2 to 36 Fairfax Road to a point 15 metres west of the centre line
Both sides of southern arm of Fairfax Road serving 2 to 36 Fairfax Road from its junction with the southern kerb line of the northern arm of Fairfax Road for a distance of 10 metres south.
On the western side of Dunlop Road from a point 15 metres north of the centre line of the junction of Dunlop Road and Russell Road to a point 15 metres south of the centre line
Both sides of Russell Road from its junction with the western kerb line of Dunlop Road for a distance of 10 metres west.
On the east side of Dunlop Road from a point 15 metres north of the centre line of the junction of Dunlop Road and Fairfax Road to a point 15 metres south of the centre line
Both sides of Fairfax Road from its junction with the eastern kerb line of Dunlop Road for a distance of 10 metres east.
On the east side of Dunlop Road from a point 15 metres north of the centre line of the junction of Dunlop Road and Adelaide Road to a point 15 metres south of the centre line
Both sides of Adelaide Road from its junction with the eastern kerb line of Dunlop Road for a distance of 10 metres east. On the south east side of Adelaide Road from a point 15 metres north east of the centre line of the junction of Adelaide Road and Albany Road to a point 15 metres south west of the centre line
Both sides of Albany Road from its junction with the south eastern kerb line of Adelaide Road for a distance of 10 metres south east. On the north west side of The Circle from a point 15 metres north east of the centre line of the junction of The Circle and Hobart Road to a point 15 metres south east of the centre line
Both sides of Hobart Road from its junction with the north western kerb line of The Circle for a distance of 10 metres north west. On the south west side of Hobart Road from a point 15 metres north west of the centre line of the junction of Hobart Road and Adelaide Road to a point 15 metres south east of the centre line
Both sides of Adelaide Road from its junction with the south western kerb line of Hobart Road for a distance of 10 metres south west.
On the south east side of Russell Road from a point 15 metres north east of the centre line of the junction of Russell Road and Church Road to a point 15 metres south west of the centre line Both sides of Church Road from its junction with the south eastern kerb line of Russell Road for a distance of 10 metres south west.
On the north west side of Russell Road from a point 15 metres north east of the centre line of the junction of Russell Road and Melbourne Road to a point 15 metres south west of the centre line Both sides of Melbourne Road from its junction with the north western kerb line of Russell Road for a distance of 10 metres north west. On the south west side of Russell Road from a point 15 metres north east of the centre line of the junction of southern arm of Russell Road serving 23 to 49 Russell Road to a point 15 metres south west of the centre line
Both sides of southern arm of Russell Road serving 23 to 49 Russell Road from its junction with the south eastern kerb line of Russell Road for a distance of 10 metres south.
On the south side of Gaylor Road from its junction with the western kerb line of Dunlop Road for a distance of 10 metres west. Northern kerb line of Gaylor Road from a point 10 metres west of western kerb line of Dunlop Road to a point 3 metres north of the north wall of 78 Dunlop Road
Dunlop Road south west side from its junction with Church Road to a point 12 metres north west of the centre line of the junction of Church Road and Dunlop Road.
On the south west side of Dunlop Road from a point 15 metres south east of the centre line of the junction of Dunlop Road and Church Road to a point on the south east side of Church Road 10 metres south west its junction with the south western kerb line of Dunlop Road.
On the private section/turning area of Hobart Road outside the Tasmania House flats from a point 4 metres north of the northern boundary of No 58 Hobart Road around the private turning area to a point 3m metres opposite the western flank wall of No 27 Hobart Road.

4) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans will be available for inspection for a period of 21 days at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, Thurrock, Essex, RM17 6SL, during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Councils website, www.thurrock.gov.uk.

5) Any objection to the proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made, and sent to the address in paragraph (8) or sent via email to Capital.traffic@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 3rd November 2017. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
