Essex County Council (Footpath 4 & Footpath 30, Barling Magna) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Footpath 4 & Footpath 30, Barling Magna as specified: Footpath No Description
Alternative Route Footpath No2, From its junction with East along Mucking Hall Barling Magna Mucking Hall Road, Lane to the sharp north for approximately southwards bend, then 657 metres to its junction with Footpath No30,
Barling Magna generally north along Footpath 6, Barling Magna past Ropers Farm Cottages to join the sea wall north of Old Timbers Farm for a distance of approximately 1.5 km. Footpath No30, Barling Magna From its junction with Footpath No2 east for approximately 800 metres to its junction with Footpath No6. East along Mucking Hall Lane to the sharp southwards bend, then generally north along Footpath 6, Barling  Magna past Ropers Farm Cottages to join the sea wall north of Old Timbers Farm for a distance of approximately 1.5 km. The closures are scheduled to commence on 16th October 2017 for 7 weeks or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while repair works to Ropers Farm Sluice is undertaken. The Order will come into effect on 16th October 2017 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
