Notice of Temporary Traffic Order South Hinksey,A423 Southern Bypass Slip road to Kennington One Way Traffic Date of Order: 2 October 2017 Coming into force: 9 October 2017 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway investigation survey works which are anticipated to take 2 weeks to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle using the slip road from the A423 Southern By-Pass (near Hinksey roundabout) into Old Abingdon Road towards Kennington and Redbridge. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works.The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via the A423 Southern By-pass, A4144 Abingdon Road an Old Abingdon Road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
